it's been going through growing pains since it went live in december. People have problems with their degree audit (what we call the grad report now) or the system is just difficult. People come into the CAC and complain all the time as if we can do anything about it.
(and melinda, it's Tippetts)

Well, maybe you should just forward them on to the IT department.

Send enough people with the same complaint, and maybe they'll get tired of hearing it and actually do something. Power in numbers!

... or not
we went on a tour of the hart today, for facility managment, and found out that they have been waiting for 15 years for the pool to break down. its so old, that they can't buy parts to fix it, and have to have them manufactured. how interesting

well, they need a reason to replace it, and they don't want to just break it, just let it break itself

They could always just pay some students to "accidentally" damage it.

i think it would be a lot of fun to go sabatoge it. the guy taking us on a tour was kinda sad that he didn't have a key to that room to show it to us. he encouraged us to sabatoge it.

a stick of dynamite might do it... oh wait. something realistic? i'm sure there are gauges and other things that can be broken.
