completly off of the mimicing topic, but on the majors topic...
So, i found out the other day that they no longer offer the WFR class. this is important to me because i need to take the WFR class for my major (i'm already doing WFAid, and it can't count for both). So, I guess I'll need to change WFA to count for my major, and choose something else to go along with my semi-sort of Emergancy Care cluster... any ideas?

That's crazy. It's annoying they've stopped offering all these classes and don't have any replacements, cause it really shoots those of us still on the GE system in the foot. I don't think they thought this through very well.

or at least wait to stop offering them until all those with GE's will for sure have graduated... for example, anyone on the GE system probably won't be here much past... 2013. thats just three more years!

also, they could let the general population of the school know that they've stopped offering the classes. I know i've looked at some classes in the 07-08 catalog, and they aren't in the 09-10 catalog, and some are still offered, and some arent. they should let the general population know "hey, this class, and this class, wont be taught any more. make sure you find something to fit its spot..." otherwise, your stuck (like me) finding out from a teacher in the middle of class, or you find out when you go to try and register for it, and it isnt there any more. which is also quite annoying

well, as much as I know you loathe doing it, I'd go talk to your advising center (not the CAC, but Ag and Life) and see what they want you to do. They generally have a plan for that. I know, this transition thing is a pain, believe me, i've heard.

Always nice when things work. Not looking forward to having to register next month. I have a schedule planned out. Just hope it works.

yeah, this will be interesting seeing how everything works. I've not had to register for classes with the new system yet.

its... interesting. it didn't make as much sense, and it seemed a little harder to navigte, but maybe that is just because it had been forever since i had registered.

Jezebel is the not-so-affectionate nickname for the new my.byui.edu system. It's technical name is JICS.
