Very true. Most people don't feel like getting up and going. I bet their employers would have had a fit over it if they called out sick on those days.

random story: on my mission, we were low on miles, and it was halfway through the month, and we had places we needed to go. they were having a sale on scooters (like the razor scooters) at the local sporting goods store. my companion and i decide to get one. that day, as we were going down a hill, a car comes at me, so i put my foot down to stop myself (having never ridden one, i didn't know about the foot break) and do a few summersalts down the hill and slide some way (apparently without making much noise, as my companion didn't hear any of this). i get a nice scrape (and now a nice scar) on my elbow hand and and ankle. yesterday, we went around finding bottles for the "recycled bottle regatta." i try and take a corner too sharp, and make a nice crash (again, apparently without much noise because the lady two feet in front of me only heard the bike fall). i get up, look myself over and notice a nice scrape on my elbow (the one that wasn't fallen on on my mission). my first thought? "wow, i'll have matching scars if i'm lucky!!)

we would soemtimes look at that picture in one of my classes in highschool. i remember that there was a reason for it (i think someone wanted to use a picture for something or another) but yes, itwas a great way to look busy and still be kind of productive too.

Hey, laughing is an ab workout, and exercise is productive. Thus, poking around on Engrish.com is productive.

i guess that's one way to look at it. though i think that if we had told my graphics teacher that, he wouldn't have bought it.

Well, I made the cookie dough dip and don't feel like finding the thread we were talking about it on. So I thought this was a good place to report on it. --It's okay. I'll finish what I made, but I doubt I'll make it again. I added more oats than it called for because I thought it needed more substance, but it is a dip, not an actual dough.
