Meanwhile, the roaches plotted too.

(this story is absolutely ridiculous!)
One advantage the human had was that his brain maintained a higher working speed than the roach's brains.

Eventually the human finished his plotting. "Eurika! I've got it! I shall have to build a catipult. if they eat too much, they are certian to die, and then I shall take over the world!

As the human reveled in his glorious idea, he suddenly realized one very important thing.

because he was just one person, it would take too long to build a catapult. besides that, he didn't have the materials. he needed to go on a quest, and find more people!

(I would like to get some actual, named characters [whom we would all control equally]. Are the protagonists the humans, or the roaches?)
And so the human set off through the desolated world to find fellow humans.

(the name that comes to me for the human is Shem, Which can be changed if no one else likes it. and, what's a protagonist? sorry for my lack of knowledge)
*Shem* wandered for a good long while, as far as he could go. Eventually, he reached the ocean, and still, he hadn't met anyone

The awful reality of his situation began to set in as he realized that he most likely was indeed the only surviving human left on the planet.

(Shem works for me. And a protagonist is basically the main character(s). The antagonist is someone who causes trouble for [antagonizes] the protagonist.)
Just before despair set in, he rallied himself. "No!" he yelled at the open wasteland. "We can't be all gone. There has to be someone else left!"

All of a sudden, he heard something coming from behind him

Looking around, he thought he saw something that looked suspiciously like a T-Rex.

As the monster came closer, Shem saw that it was a T-Rex...made of metal.

"how did that thing make it here?" Shem wondered. "it can't be a T-Rex made of metal, and not have a controller. does that mean... I'm not alone?"

The metal beast stomped closer and closer, and Shem ducked behind a boulder. The T-Rex stopped in front of the boulder and seemed to sniff the air.

*hisser is up for suggestions, it was the first thing that came to mind. please feel free to change his name, i'm not terribly fond of it
