heh heh, yes, the day you wanted to wear a skirt it was snowing, and then the day you should have worn a skirt (conference!) you didn't (at least at first)

Darn weather I quite rarely want to wear skirts on non-Sundays.

this goes into the psychology of girls. sometimes, a girl just wants to look cute that day. be it because she's had a hard day the day before, and it makes here feel better, be it because there is a boy she wants to impress, or sometimes she is just in a really girly mood that day. i'll let you pick which reason you think it might be.

hmm let's work on eliminating a few options - I don't think you would ever be in a "really girly mood. I could see you just wanting to look cute on a particular day, or having had a hard day and it makes you feel better (especially since you got to wear skirts for 18 months.) As for the boy one, is there something you need to tell us Melinda?

Yes, but this is Melinda we're talking about. She doesn't have "girly" moods! (you know we're just teasing ya Melinda )

I suppose that's true. Stranger things have happened (though if notice she has not answered the question about if there was a boy she wanted to impress)

answer is that i was having a hard day, and wanted to go back to being a missionary. wearing a skirt is probably the closest i can come to that. though i would still go back to being a missionary in a heartbeat. then i wouldnt have to deal with some of this stupid world.

ah, I see. Well, the thing is you technically COULD go back to being a missionary, but you shouldn't do it to run away from the world.

Very true. Sometimes it's time to change. There are things and times and places that we would all like to go back to instantly, but we can't, and that's where we find strength, in learning to move on and accept what life gives us.

"God gives unto men weakenesses that they may come before Him and He will make them strengths"
I'm sure that i slaughtered that verse, but it still conveys the same general message.
