School has always felt more like home to me. I have always felt more comfortable and felt that people care about me more here

Well, I had the most friends up at school, but my family was, and is, in Georgia. Plus, I lived here for most of my life.

That's true. And some people feel really restricted by having to follow their parents rules when they're home between semesters. I didn't have that problem.

Yeah, a slightly different thing. I'll still have some rules to follow when I'm home, though a lot of them will be my own, seeing as I'll be having the crazy work schedule. Not much fun.

I've never found home to be all that restricting. The only time in my life that I had a curfew was when I was in college.

With my family, we just have to tell Mom or Dad where we're going, and sometimes tell them when we plan to be back. If we're going to get home late, we need to call and tell them when. And when we get home, we need to tell Mom and Dad we're home, waking them up, if needed.

Never had a curfew, but that's because we were never out late. At least, I wasn't. I think my brothers are a little more social than I was growing up. Who knows?

thanks to my older sisters who were very social (and one was not necessarily the best child), compounded with aging and old parents, i had a curfew. especially the last few years.

I never had a curfew. The hard part here is just having a car to drive somewhere. Being home feels like I'm an inconvenience (cars, sleeping arrangements, etc.)

I'm glad I have a car to drive, along with no curfew.
