This is true. Many people go into something completely unrelated to their degree. I know a guy who's an accountant and his degree is in athletic training

i'm hoping that i don't have to do that. I have a plan for what i want to do with my degree, and since i have to get an internship in that field before i can graduate, i am hoping that i can just stay on and work there after. no guarantee, obvously, but it would be nice to stay with the NPS, or the BLM at the very least...

Yeah, you have things fairly easy. It must be nice to have had the same plan for your whole life

Do those acronyms stand for "National Park Service" and "Beuro of Land Management?" Yes, I know I butchered the spelling of "Beuro." But that's what it sounds like it, so I don't care to look up the right work.

Yeah, that's NPS - National Park Service. Not sure on the other one. Spent too much time around the NPS.

NPS= national park system BLM- bureo of Land Management.
you are correct! huzzah! it reminds me of that time we were at the dunes, i had come up for a visit once during the fall, right after i got my mission call, i think, and we went to the dunes, and almost got in trouble with the BLM. it was rather funny.
as for the spelling of beureo, i have typed it into word about five different ways, and havent been able to come up with a correct spelling of it. who knows how its spelled

I do believe the correct spelling is "bureau," according to Word. If I got it right, that is.

Crazy French! I was joking at work a few weeks back that it would be funny to have some French customers come in and ask for some American Toast.
