...This week, I've been working 12-8 (or really, till however long after 7 it takes me to close my drawer). And I have to hijack other people's computers to get on...I still haven't done anything about getting internet for my computer.

I am alive! Pikes is fine. I need to make sure that my bosses know that I would prefer to be in the greenhouse, not doing cashiering. I can't entirely complain about being in air-conditioning when it's so hot outside, but I didn't go to college to cashier. Today and yesterday (or the day before), I helped a customers identify a problem with their crepe myrtles. They both had aphids. Aphids can be easy to ID. It's nice to be able to help people solve their garden problems. On an unrelated note, Hailey's started doing something really cute! Sometimes, if you ask, she'll give you a kiss

S'up ma homies! Sorry, you know how the travelling bit goes. Still over in SLC, so hence why I've been AWOL. That's great to hear that things are going well for you, Kelli! Always fun to get to use your training, right?

being able to use my training would be nice. I feel like all the education i've been getting wont do me any good till i actually am able to comit to a more full-time job, as opposed to a "summer" job

I think it's that way with most summer jobs (which I don't include internships as part of, you definitely use your major in that)

i would certianly hope that i use my major in my internship. though, i have so many internship hours that i have to fill, hopefully i'll get to start using them before i graduate and do my senior internship, otherwise, that will be one long internship.

Hopefully you could use your major. That's really the point of it. Though a lot of people do end up not using their major.
