What are the chances of us starting and Jason introducing his character once he manages to find the time (Hey Jason, how's your schedule this semester, anyway?)? I think we only have Brandon and me with our stats up. Can you do this with only two people and the DM?
Hey Melinda, do you want to play?

i found out when trying the last roleplaying thing, i'm not good at all at these kinds of things. so i would say yes, but i am no good, so i'll decline. thanks for the offer. if you need three people to start it out, i can start out, but then have my character killed off or something once jason gets his guy up and going....

This time we'll have someone (Logan) controlling things. That should help make so you not being good at it won't make much difference. Not that I know...I've never done one of these before (the role-playing story doesn't count).

Okay here is the thing we might be able to start with two players but I'll probably end up pulling a lot of punches and I think that 3 people would work out best. It would be awesome if melinda would like to take part and like brandon said I"ll be running the story so you don't have to worry about being any good or bad. You'll do just fine. You can hold back a little on the roleplaying aspects going into the game there is not going to be a whole lot of it except getting to know one anothers characters. It will be a learning experience for us to I've never really gm'd and none of us have played this system so it should be fine and since it has boiled down to use 3 or 4 we can also change the system if you would like.

i think i decided that i want my character to be a warrior. does it need a secondary skill, or can it just have one? i still dont have a name for it, i'll come up with one soon though. and i am still working on the stats...
sorry this is taking so long. i havent focused on much today, and therefore, it has taken me three times longer to do anything. homework, or fun.

Don't worry, Melinda. You're not taking long. Not by a long shot. Let me see if I can help you with your stats and such...(rummages around in earlier pages of this thread)

This is a website where you can roll your stats: www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htmYou use the d10 die. Look at page 28 of the instructions when you roll your stats. There's a table that says what number = what stat (for example, a roll of 36-55 = a stat of 45, and my strength/stamina roll was 7, but mys stat ended up being 30 because that's the bare minimum.) On the same page, there are tables for figuring out your race abilities and such (for example, your race automatically has night vision, gliding, and battle rage 5%) The explanation for the stats is on pages 4 and 5 of the instructions.

Don't push yourself to hard this all about having fun besides I need to brush up on the rules again it's been so long that my focus has gone throught about 4 things now so it time to get brushed back up on this one. Right now though we have kelli who is martial arts and brandon who is close range although he might switch over to beam. Personally with there only being three right now you should all be able to hold your own in a fight. But that's just a suggestion.

so here's a real question.... here's my stats so far: Name: Aellako Race: Yazirian
Stats: Str/Sta: 9 Dex/Rs: 6 Int/Log: 9 Per/Ldr: 9
now, how do i make it so that there are two numbers/like everyone elses (meaning in multiples of 10, instead if in multiples of 1).... i tried to read and find out, but i couldt figure it out...
