Imagine what kind of video games they must have. Talk about massively multiplayer!

Yeah, well, except for the fact that they all play the same. Incredibly boring. To quote: We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Your biological and technilogical distictivness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile. Oh, and for any Trekkers, you might like this page. www.travelphrases.info/languages/StarTrekLanguages.htmI especially like the translation of the Borg phrases.

Like . . . the personal sheilding? That would be nice, but sharing minds? And having no personal will? Umm, no thanks.

hey, sharing minds would have many advantages. then you wouldnt have to try and explain something to them, they would already know what you ment. the no personal will would be rather sad, but i think that there would be many advantages to being part of the borg.

Speak for yourself Jason, I would rather not be "Borg'd" It doesn't sound like it would be fun. And I'm not sure if I would want everybody to be connected like you said. There are somethings that don't need to be known to everybody. Somethings that are supposed to be private.

Well, you don't have to share everything. Of course you could keep things private. Like on a computer. You can have your computer broadcast information and recieve information (either via a cable or wireless), but you can also keep things confidential if you want, provided you don't get a virus or spyware. As for the Borg, well, personally, I'll opt out. Had a dream about that once. Really weird. If you want to hear about it, let me know.

so are you not going to tell us?

Sure, why not. Don't remember all of it, but a group of us (didn't even know the other people) were in a Borg cube, and they finally caught us all and told us we were going to be assimilated. So, having no choice, they tood us all to this waiting room, and one by one took people into an assimilation chamber. I was the last one, and when it came my turn, I ran away. That was the end of the dream. Not at all true to the Borg, but still, it's only a dream.

That's odd. I just had deja vu while reading this. Either that, or I've had the same dream.

I'm a bit lost so I'm going back to the quotes bored idea.
"All war is deception, think your enemy has a weekness and it becomes his strength, remember that," - Roy Mustang (Anime-Fullmetal Alchemist)

"We are both like children to live true to our feelings," - Roy Mustang to Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist - subtitled version)
Try placing 'both' with 'all' and the quote comes to more light
