Apparently the picking of a new name.

Actually, the topic of this thread is making the forum more organized and easier to read, although renaming the threads, could, in theory, make things easier.

so then, are we for renameing threads as the topic changes?

That would just be a whole ton of work. Personally, I just tend to ignore the name and just go with whatever the topic of conversation happens to be at the time.

In response to Jason's comment, not everyone has enough time to go through every single thread to find one that they want to participate in, it would be easier if they could just skim the titles and enter the one they wanted to.

Could be, however, it all depends on what ones you want to participate in. Our topics move so fast, that even if you did have one you wanted to participate in, it would be gone in a few days. I mean, yeah, I know not everyone can get on every day, but, well, so is how it is, at least with us.

that's kinda the point.
Threads that don't get much traffic disappear, and threads that people speak in often don't. If someone wants to speak in an older thread, nothing prevents them from doing so.

I never said that you couldn't talk in the older threads, but, I still like to keep visiting them. At least, some of us like to and keep going back to them. It's all up to you, what you want to do.

Exactly, but it's not easy for everyone to just jump onto the forum and post where they want to. It would take a great deal of searching, because almost none of the threads are properly labeled. To someone who hasn't visited the forum recently, it would be nigh impossible to know where to talk, which is why those who don't frequent the boards as often as us tend to make brand new threads.

While we're on the topic about not being on the topic of the thread I would like to comment that it is very confusing when there are two different threads with the same name (i.e. two "anime" threads). It's hard enough to figure things out when we keep topic-wandering

Gotcha. The anime thread that wasn't currently talking about anime has been renamed.
