OOC - I was thinking more likely that she took S&S there so that she would be able to finish S&S off easier, at her convenience. That, or the elements would kill you. As it is, I think that it's time that S&S find their crystals. I think it would be fitting if their crystals were on Earth.

Doelcm and Alira had only taken a few steps when they heard a metal click behind them. "Citizans are not allowed here. Explain yourselves," a female voice ordered. Doelcm and Alira slowly turned around. Before them stood a lady in brown, military-looking clothes holding a handgun that she pointed directly at Doelcm's heart. "We're not looking for trouble," Doelcm tried to explain. "We... got lost. We'll leave now if you'll show us the way out." As she spoke, Doelcm disintigrated a wedge out of the gun's trigger, making so it would break if the soldier tried to fire. "You got to the center of the country's most carefully guarded building, by it's most carefully guarded possession, without even making a blip on our sensors, and you say you just got lost? Stop insulting my intelligence and at least give me a half-believeable lie." "All I can tell you is that we didn't mean to be here and we don't want to cause trouble. I'm telling the truth, and I'm sorry if you don't believe me." "I don't believe you," she said. Pointing at one of the steel-covered hallways, she continued, "Now march." As the two captives started down the hallway, Alia leaned close to Doelcm and asked, "Why are you allowing this? Why don't you disarm her and take her captive?" Doelcm whispered back, "I already disarmed her; she just doesn't know it yet. And I want to find out more about this place, so we might as well go where she wants us to." The soldier poked Doelcm with her gun. "No talking!"

OOC to Fire Knight--Good thought. If Lucretia knew which school you guys went to, I bet she'd find it evilly ironic for S&S to die there from the cold/lack of food. And I agree that it's about time more crystals were found, but I thought one crystal was to lead to the next, and Kelli's not found hers yet, and I don't know how it'd get to us when she does find it. Maybe she could find hers, get back with the group, and you try again to open the portal but can only open it wide enough and long enough to send whatever Kelli's crystal is on to us.

OOC - well, for the sake of moving the story along, I was thinking that maybe Lucrecia could be sending S&S to where their crystals are, without realizing it. It would also be quite a twist against Lucrecia, doing that. A double-irony. That was my thought. With how long it's taking to find Doelcm's crystal . . .

"Sarala, do you feel that? There is a familiar evil presence near by!" said Shilm
"I really hadn't it felt it, but now that you mention it, i do." whispered Sarala
Shilm and Sarala stayed closer together, as they tried to disipher the familiar feeling.
"Shilm....I think that we should move on." Whispered Sarala
"Sarala use you light locator to see if it is Syfe....since we do know how to locate family, and if it is him, then we must know where he is, because he is very dangerous, and here on this planet the darkness is so powerful, it dampers our light energy." whipered shilm

rachael, emiko, torry, and kor were wandering along a shore to a sea. "lets go swimming, everyone!" shouts rachael "how about you all go, and i'll stay here and watch all your stuff. i dont want any of this to get stolen while everyone is swimming." said emiko, not wanting to admit that she didnt know how to swim. "no, our stuff will be fine, come on emiko, you've had it just as rough as the rest of us, come join us. it will be fun." "okay, but, i'll stay here by the shore, so that none of our stuff, like swords, food, and other such things, arent stolen." said emiko. off they all went, emiko trying to stay by the shore, since she couldnt swim, but the rest dragged her off, deeper and deeper. they eventually stopped, way past where she was comfortable, but, she wasnt about to ruin the fun of everyone else, so she just let it rest, and tried to have a good time. while they were all swimming, someone did come along and steal all their stuff. especially the weapons and the food. this person, unbeknownst to them, was a friend of the geezbot that they had killed and eaten, back in the forest. they were trying to get back at the group, and make sure that they couldnt do any harm to the ecosystem that was there. when the group was done swimming, they went back to get their suff and continue on their journey of exploring the world that they were on, so that they could say they had traveled the whole earth. they found their stuff was gone, and they also saw "footprints! look here are some footprints! lets follow them and see what they lead to, see if whatever they are from took our stuff." so, follow the footprints they did. they ended up at a tree stump. the footprints didnt go around the stump, it didnt go away from the stump, they went to the stump, and stoped. "where did who ever it is go? and where's our stuff?" "uhh...maybe we can knock on the stump? maybe there is some sort of a secret knot on the tree or something, and it will open up into the stump. you know, like in princess bride or something like that." "thats a dumb idea, whoever thought of that?" "well, do you have a better one?" at that, they all stopped to think for a while. no one ended up having a better idea, so they knocked on the stump (feeling very foolish as they did) and waited to see what would happen. about a minute later, something popped out of the stump. it starte to talk to them "i am the lorax, i speak for the geezbot, which you cut up and ate, just as fast as you pleased." well now, _that_ took them all by surprise. they didnt know what to do. "well, what did you want? you knocked on my stump, oh so very rudely, so, what did you want?" "please, mr. lorax sir, did you take our stuff that was down on the beach? we need it back, please. so that we can continue on our around the world journey. we promise not to hurt any more geezbots. we just fought, and killed, and ate, that one, because it was chasing us, and it was about to eat us for dinner. please, can we have our stuff back?" the lorax had to stop and think about that for a minute. "well, i guess if you absolutely promise not to kill another geezbot, ever, i guess you can have everything back. i just dont want any ecosystems to be damaged. one geezbot dying can do that, you know. they have a huge impact on the ecosystems around here. nigh irreplaceable." so, the travelers got back all their stuff from the lorax (where he pulled it from, they dont know, nor where he even stored it to begine with) and went on their merry way. all seeming to end well.

(OOC--I'll see if I can get her to do it today.)
Shilm and Sarala had been on the cold, dirty, abandoned planet for a full week already. On the second day, the cousins searched many of the nearby buildings and found two more emergency food boxes that still had food in them. Luckily a couple these items could be kept in reserve because on the third day they found greenhouses. Now, most of the plants in these greenhouses were dead, having not been watered since before the last people abandoned the place. But there was a steady leak in one of the pipes, so the plants lucky enough to be under it were still surviving. Also, the greenhouses sheltered some desert plants who were thus far no worse off than they had ever been. Several of the surviving plants had edible features. Whether roots or flowers or actual fruit, Sarala and Shilm had found a food source. The cacti and other desert plants were particularly good; some were sweet, and all were full of water. However, they had to be sparing on their fortunate food supply--they had no way to replenish it and no idea how long it would have to last.
(OCC--We haven't seen Temor for a while; what's he up to? What happened to the whole kidnapping Doelcm and Sarala thing? Where are Sarala's parents and what are they doing? And Kelli and I came up with the idea that Lucretia didn't really turn the king and queen evil; the people who fought Sarala were fashioned to look like her parents so she wouldn't be able to really fight them. (So her parents are still captured somewhere.) B/c if Lucretia can turn the king and queen of light into evil people, she really is all powerful and we should just give up now. Any ideas why Shilm and Sarala didn't just open up a portal and get back to the Erk/Tarak group? Needs to be that way for the sake of the storyline, but I can't think of what would keep them from doing it.)

(OOC - Temor currently appears to be in limbo, probably somewhere on Earth helping to fight the resistance forces. Kidnapping Doelcm and Sarala . . . I'm not remembering that. Hmm . . . that might be a good idea, in regards to the parents. We could have them currently as prisoners on Earth as well. I think that Shilm and Sarala can't get off the planet because the evil on the planet is strong enough now to smother any light power that isn't supported by a crystal. Until they find their crystals, which should be the goal, even though they don't know it, their powers of light are pretty much zip. That's what I think, anyway, in regard to your questions.)

(OOC - geesh, you just like grabbing peoples, don't you? Don't worry, Temor's going to have a place. At least, I think he will in the novel version. There may be quite some difference in how these two things end. )

(OOC: How do you think this one will end and how do you want the book version to end? And just being nitpicky, how physical and tangible is this darkness? All darkness is is an absence of light, so light can't be smothered by literal darkness and is always more powerful.)

A few minutes later, Doelcm leaned over to Alira. "I changed my mind. We need to get back to the others as soon as possible, so let's try the direct approach." With that, she stopped walking and turned around. "I'm sorry, but my friend and I need to leave you now. We've got things to do and we want to do them quickly." The lady soldier raised her gun. "That's not happening. I will not hesitate to shoot you if you try to escape." Doelcm shrugged and removed Erk's dagger from it's sheath. "Alright, we need to go...this way." She pointed down a hallway to their right. The soldier stepped between them and and the hallway. Pointing her gun at Doelcm's chest, she said, "Drop the knife, turn around and march. Now!" Hands on her hips, Doelcm sized her up for a moment. "I suppose she's had martial arts training." Motioning to Alira, she started walking past her oppenent. "I warned you." The soldier pulled the trigger... which broke off and fell to the ground, making a small ping of metal hitting metal. She would have quickly recovered from her surprise except when she looked down at the broken trigger, she noticed that around her ankles had a kind of large handcuffs around them.
