Shilm entered the town and noticed how cozy Tarak was getting with Doelcm.
" This is interesting, but I need to find out what secret these people have." thought Shilm to himself.
Shilm noticed a big metalic building with many military guard.
" I guess this is where I should go to see what these people are hiding."
Shilm began to infiltrate the building.

(OOC: I thought Lucrecia wanted to rule Earth. If she does, why is she destroying the solar system? Destruction for descruction's sake? Are the settlers hiding something? I thought they were just colonizing the planet.)

(Playing Tarak) "And so you can see, that is our story." Doelcm finished talking and leaned back. Tarak looked from her to the city administrator, who looked at them with a mixture of disbelief and uncertainy, as well as admiration. Tarak scooted a little closer to Doelcm on the couch they were sitting on. Doelcm didn't make any reaction, so Tarak scooted a little closer, but didn't try anything yet. "How do I know I can trust you?" asked the administrator. "There's nothing really that we can do to get you to trust us, except this." Doelcm reached out with her hand and began to reshape a cup sitting on the administrator's desk. The administrator looked on in amazment as his glass cup turned into a pure diamond swan. "Wha . . . how . . . what . . ." Tarak put his arm around Doelcm, smiled at her and gave her a wink. The administrator continued looking between the new swan and Doelcm, amazment clear on his face. "What do you want?" "Simply safe refuge right now. We're working to figure out where we are and what to do next." "You'll receive the supplies and shelter you need. Whatever you ask." "Thank you." Tarak and Doelcm exchanged looks, and Tarak smiled at her.

Doelcm smiled with a little embarrassment. It was getting ever more obvious that Tarak liked her. She kind of liked him too, so the situation wasn't too bad, but it was a bit uncomfortable. Doelcm had had guy friends before, like Erk and Kor, but no guy had ever liked her in the way that Tarak apparently did.
A short while later, the soldier that had taken them to the settlement was driving them back to get their friends. They were just a little bit away from the settlement when the car stopped for no reason, throwing everyone forward. Doelcm's door opened and someone pulled her out of the car and onto the ground. The still dazed Doelcm shook her head, and there before her was the Time General. Tarak jumped out of the car, drawing his knife, while the soldier readied his gun. The Time General looked behind her, and with a wave of her hand, froze both of them in time. While the General was distracted, Doelcm started encasing her enemy's feet in iron. She would have done more, but the Time General slowed Doelcm's time to about half speed. The Time General looked down at her feet and tried to move. Nothing happened. She glared at Doelcm. "Soon, girl, you will not be so troublesome. I will have Lucrecia bind your powers, and you will work for me. I hope you're good at washing windows." This threat was lost on Doelcm, since the speech was too fast for her to understand. Dang. If I attack her, she'll just stop me. How do you beat someone that can control time! Then a thought occurred to her. If the General didn't notice that she was being attacked, she wouldn't defend herself. Doelcm started moving the oxygen atoms away from the Time General's mouth and nose, letting carbon dioxide and whatever else take its place. Meanwhile the Time General was busy trying to free herself and thinking about what she was going to do to Doelcm once she was free. Reaching down, she pulled up some of the long grass around her and wiped the dew from it onto the iron around her feet. She then sped up the iron's time, causing it to rust. If she noticed that she was getting short of breath, she just attributed it to her frustration. Very soon, however, it became apparent to her that something was wrong. Doubled over, she gasped and gasped, but it did her no good. She collapsed. When the Time General lost consciousness, time returned to normal. Seeing that her plan had worked, Doelcm moved oxygen close the the General's face, but she didn't start breathing. Before Doelcm, who didn't want to actually kill her enemy, could do anything, a portal opened and the General was swallowed up. Tarak leaned against the side of the car while the soldier just stared in surprise and confusion. "So . . ." Tarak began, "what just happened?" * * * * The portal dropped the Time General roughly on the hardwood floor of what used to be a very ritzy apartment suite. Now it was Lucrecia's home. The Time General curled almost into a ball on the floor, coughing. The thud when she landed had started her breathing again. "Temor, stand her up." Temor and Lucrecia exchanged a look, but the Time General was too busy coughing to notice. "I do not like incompetence, but obedience can somewhat make up for it." Lucrecia began. The Time General looked up. She was in trouble. "I do not like disobedience either, but I will sometimes forgive that after punishment is given. But to disobey and be incompetent is intolerable!" The Time General would have collapsed at Lucrecia's feet if Lord Temor had not been holding her up. "Please forgive me, my Lady. I swear it will not happen again." The General shivered, feeling oddly cold and tired, drained. "Send me back, and I will do as you wish. I will have Sarala captured in no time," She smiled weakly at her joke. Lucrecia was not amused. Ignoring the General's last words, she said, "You are right that it will not happen again. While you have been pleading, Temor was binding your powers." The Time General gasped and tried to pull away from Lord Temor, but he held her fast. "I will now send you back and let that girl finish what she started. I only took you away before she finished so that you could die helpless and with the knowledge that I have rejected you." As Lucrecia opened a portal, the former Time General resumed her pleading. She could see Doelcm through the portal, no longer a petty foe, easily disposed of, but an executioner. "Please, Lady, don't! Let me try again and I won't disappoint you!" "No, you won't" Lucrecia smiled as Lord Temor pushed the former General through the portal.

"It's been far too long since they left. I'm worried something is wrong." Erk continued to pace back and forth in a trail he had worn in the grass. Sarala sat nearby, putting together a necklace out of strange flower-type weeds. Kor was lying on a rock, his eyes closed as he allowed the twin sun's rays to soak his skin. Emiko was practicing with the bow she had brought with her, working on improving her aim, which wasn't bad to begin with. Kor sat up and looked over at Erk. "I'm sure they're fine." "I don't know. I think we should go do something." "Do what? Go in there and cause a riot?" "Grrr, this is frustrating, waiting and waiting." 'Erk, please, calm down,' said Sarala through their mental link. 'I'm just worried that something happened.' 'Doelcm can take care of herself. You should know that. Now, come over here and help me finish this necklace.' 'What?' 'You heard me. Come over here and help me finish this. It's a great destresser, and you are obviously very stressed.' 'I don't want to work on some necklace. I want to go do something.' 'Erk! Come over here and work on the necklace!' Erk rolled his eyes and sighed. 'Fine.' Reluctantly, Erk went over and sat down by Sarala, who handed him one end of the necklace. She proceeded to show him how to make it, and after a while, she and Erk were talking back and forth, laughing and working on the necklace, enjoying the time they had with nothing else to do. Emiko went to retrieve her arrows, and Kor laid back down and continued to bask in the light of the suns.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a flash of light occured. When the others regained their sight, Erk was nowhere to be seen. "Where did he go?" asked Emiko. "I don't know," said Sarala. "One second he was here working on the necklace, then there was the bright flash and he was gone." "Erk? Erk?"
Erk blinked and opened his eyes. 'Where am I?' Erk looked around him. All around were strange-shaped buildings, roundish with a square on top. 'That's a strange design.' He noticed that this world had only one sun, and a rather dim one at that. 'Well, that explains all the lights on during the day.' Erk stood up and began to walk around. 'It's pretty dark here.' Erk tried to summon up some light, but got nothing. 'That's strange.' He tried fire, but also got nothing. He couldn't even feel the power like he had when they had been transported back to earth. They were just . . . gone. His mental link was gone, too. He couldn't sense Sarala at all. It took him a minute to figure it out, but when he did and realized what had happened, he sat down. His powers were gone and he was somewhere he didn't recognize. What was he going to do? All he had was the dagger that Doelcm had shaped for him. He pulled it out and looked at it. It was well-crafted, the blade of a metal that Doelcm had told him would never dull or corrode, the hilt finely crafted and soft, so as not to cause damage to his hand in combat, yet still firm enough that he could maintain a good grip. A blue sapphire had been placed on the bottom of the hilt. Erk had always liked sapphires. He thought they were pretty. Erk looked at the stone for several minutes, thinking on what had just happened. He was who knew where, without his powers and without his friends, surrounded by buildings that he could now see were old and falling apart from years of abandonment. He looked in one of the few remaining windows and saw that his hair and eyes had returned to their original color. He sighed and sat down against the building and looked back down at his knife, which was still in his hand. Suddenly, Erk sat upright, gazing intently at the stone. It seemed . . . different. It was glowing with a blue light. Almost as though there was a flame burning in it. Was it possible? Erk put his finger on the stone and tried to call the fire out. He could feel a warmth there that hadn't been there before, but when he tried to call out the flame burning within, something happened that he hadn't expected. The stone glowed even brighter, but instead of coming under his control, the burning in the stone formed into an arrow and pointed off to his left. Erk looked that way, but couldn't see anything of value there. Confused, he looked back down at the stone. The arrow glowed for a few more seconds, then vanished. Erk put his finger back on it and summoned the fire again, and again the glow increased and the arrow appeared, pointing in the same direction. Curious now, Erk stood up and began to travel in the direction that the arrow was pointing.

Shilm walked around the cold building and noticed that it was heavily guarded.
"I wonder what is in this building? I need to devise a plan to get in at to see what it is they are hiding here."
Shilm noticed that there was a soldier that was highly decorated.
"This man must be a General or something, they are allowing him in. If I can just follow him then i'll be able to see what it is they are hiding, and why they hold so much more power than the natives."
Shilm walked in to building and as soon as he walked into the building his powers were weaker. It took more effort for to hold the invisible form. Shilm knocked the General out before he lost his invisible form.
" I'm sorry sir, but it must be done, I need to know about your people they don't seem to be too honest with us."
Shilm ran further into the complex, and noticed that there was a big excavation, and many of the natives were being held against their will to dig a big hole that seem to be endless.
"I wonder what is going on here? It doesn't seem good these people are suffering and I cannot allow it to continue."
Shilm began to sneak back out, but unknown to Shilm he was being traked by the heat gogles they had and they could see Shilm. Shilm was shot with a tranqualizer. Then a man in a white coat began to give orders.
"Take him to the operation room, I want to see what makes this man speacial he has lots of power...Bring the girl that looks like this man to me. Make sure that the official don't find you. They are not to know of this because if they find us out then the coup would be ruined." Said the scientist to the soldiers.
It would appear that the government was divided and there was something down below that the scientist want to acquire, but what can it be.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha....Alira has always been a fool, from the first day that I met her people on the planet Quartz, I knew that she was a failure. Her people had a special gift but they were to prideful they wouldn't give into my power. I rememeber when I killed Alira's family, she was there, but for some stange reason her people always follow the strongest. I knew that Alira hated me for what I have done, but she has been one of the most faithful servants. It does not matter she is gone, and Doelcm will destroy her. Hmmmm...that Doelcm has great potential...If she is able to kill Alira then her heart will begin to grow dark and then I'll be able to somehow control her to me one of my slave." Said Lucrecia
" My Lady, what should I do with this bound power?"
"Lets see who is worthy of it, we need to find one that will be obedient."
"Aye, My Queen. I believe that I have someone in mind. Their heart is just as cold as your my lady." said Temor.
"Perfect...bring them here. Syfe!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yelled Lucrecia
" Yes, Queen." said Syfe
"We have allowed the other to have their fun. It is time for us to go and bring them back to us. Syfe you will go and take a group of the new elite soldiers from this world and you shall bring me Doelcm and Sarala. They shall make excellent slaves. As for Erk, Shilm, Kor don't kill them but do maime them I want to see them suffer the loss of their loved ones."
"As you wish" said Syfe and he knelt before his queen.
A portal opened to the planet where Sarala, and Doelcm are. Syfe led the enemy into the portal.
" This is perfect, I will soon have Sarala, and I shall have Doelcm as one of my Generals, to replace the incompetent Alira." though Lucrecia to herself.

Shadow wanting to get off the planet wondered where he would go. He then remembered what the Grongen elders had told him long ago. "Shadow if you are unsure of what path to take come and see us." This guidance was probably vital in choosing which side he should choose. Should he join another team or stay where he was at. The elders had a better forsight than shadow, they could determine what to do next. As he was contemplating this though, a portal opened over his head and he sensed the same evil that came from Lucretcia but not as strong which meant she must not be here but must immulating her power to her army which apparently was coming through. Shadow did not know what to do. He felt that there strength surrpassed his own. As the army came closer and closer he remebered a warrior skill that the Grongen elders had taught him. The multiplicity technique which let him copy himself up to 50 times. Shadow sensed that this would probably not be enough of a force to stop this army that seemed to keep coming and coming but it would have to do untill the rest of his party figured something out. Shadow then drew a circle in the sand around him and muttered the Grongen words to activate the multiplicity technique. White light then shot out of the circle that he drew and when the light settled there was now 50 more shadows. The new Shadows then drew up there arms and then ran forward to face this new threat that Lucretcia had put on them.

Erk had been walking for quite some time, and his feet were beginning to hurt. It was also starting to get cold, and with the loss of his powers, the only heat he could find was that of his own body and that eminating from within the the stone on his dagger. He looked around, looking for shelter from which he could hide from the cold. After travelling for some time, he found a lone building, seemingly standing on it's own in the middle of nowhere. He walked up to the building and knocked on the door several times, but there was no response. Pushing on the door, he found it opened and unlocked. He walked inside and looked around. There seemed to be several blankets lying on the ground, so he picked one up and wrapped it around him. It was getting dark outside, so he decided to wait out the night here. Wandering around the building with his newfound blanket, he explored each room. In the third room he entered, he found a table with several papers sitting on it. Moving closer, he picked up one of the papers and looked at it. It was covered with what appeared to be writing, but he didn't have even the faintest hope of actually reading it. Suddenly the gem on the dagger glowed bright, and a beam of light shot out and hit the paper. Erk let out a yelp, afraid that the paper would catch fire, but instead the light spread over the paper and the figures on it seemed to transform before his eyes. Words began to form, and he read them as they appeared. "The source of our power was hidden away once it began to be erratic. Though it was some time ago, recently it has come again to our attention as a strange man came searching for it. We didn't know what his intentions were, but we kept the location of our power secret and hidden. The man threatened us, but even still we did not reveal the location. He left, and eventually returned with an army of beings unlike anything we had seen before. They began to exterminate us, one city after another. We fought back, but it was like sleng (closest approximation: gnats) attacking a melstik (closest approximation: elephant). We had no hope of defeating them, so we hid our power source in a new location. We worried that they would find it anyway, as it was behaving even more erratic as time went on. Finally we found a suitable cave and stored it there. The cave seemed to posses some strange quality that calmed the crystal, and there we left it with several defenses to preserve the state of the crystal and keep it from falling into the strange man's hands. We kept a written record of where it was kept, but it was put into code so that it would be harder to be found. That record is kept in a safe in this room. We leave this for whoever may find it, in hopes that it will be someone who will use the crystal for the right purposes, and not for the wrong ones." Erk put down the paper and began searching the room, looking for the paper with the directions to the cave where the crystal was hidden. Could this be one of the crystals they had been looking for? Was that why he had randomly been transported here and lost his powers, because the crystal was behaving erratically again? There were many questions he had, and only finding this crystal would answer them.

Hearing a noise behind them, Doelcm and Tarak spun around. It was the Time General. Before she could attack them, Doelcm dropped her in a pit and filled the pit back up, turning the top layer into a sheet of metal to ensure she could not escape. Only the General's head showed. When Doelcm started walking toward her, the Time General turned her head away, eyes squeezed tightly shut. "Please do not kill me. I . . . I can be of use to you." "What?" Doelcm stopped, surprised. Unlike Lucrecia, Doelcm had no desire to kill any of her enemies and would not kill any of them unless the absolute only other option was to allow them to kill other people. "I must admit I was expecting more a threat than a plea." Doelcm's captive opened her eyes, but did not remove her gaze from the ground in front of her. She took a deep breath. "Threats would do me no good. If I threatened that Lady Lucrecia would send someone to aid me, you would just leave me trapped here." "Would she not send aid?" asked Tarak. "Or at least suck you back into one of her portals? The captive finally looked up, but at Doelcm, not Tarak. "She would not send aid." Finding it hard to hold Doelcm's gaze, she looked back at the ground. "When I came earlier, I was supposed to kidnap the princess and instead, I disobeyed and and went to capture you. Because I was disobedient and even failed at what I chose over Lady Lucrecia's instructions, she rejected me. With my people, the weak swear loyalty to the strong. Since Lady Lucrecia rejected me, I must find someone else to swear myself to. Will you accept me?" She asked her question hesitantly, sounding almost sure that Doelcm would not accept. "Wait, you think I'm stronger than you?" Doelcm asked, confused by the sudden transition in her enemy. In all their other encounters, the General had seemed completely confident in her ability to defeat Doelcm. Could one defeat really have caused this big of a change? I would have thought she'd blame my victory on luck. Having Lucrecia reject her probably took a big toll, but still. . . The General spoke again. "Before you decide, I should tell you that I am both less of a threat, and," she spoke a little softer, like she didn't quite want Doelcm to hear her, "less useful than I was when we last fought. When Lady Lucrecia summoned me after my defeat, she . . . she bound my powers. I am no more of a threat and no more useful than that boy." She nodded toward Tarak, who made known his displeasure at her comment. When the captive finished speaking, she continued looking at the ground, awaiting Doelcm's answer. After a few moments of silence, Tarak asked "Well? What do you think?" "I don't know. I don't trust her, but I don't think she's the kind of person that would pretend to have a weakness that she doesn't have. Let's take her to the others." Maybe Kor can read her thoughts and tell me if she's telling the truth. With that, Doelcm raised her captive out of the ground, giving her a sort of metal straight jacket to discourage any attacks or escape attempts. Once everyone was in the car, Doelcm asked, "Since you're not a Time General anymore, what do we call you?" "My name is Alira."

Playing Tarak) Tarak climbed into the car after Doelcm helped Alira in. He was still irked at being called a boy, and he in no way trusted her. She was the enemy, or at least had been and now appeared to be as helpless as any of the citizens of his own planet, which had ceased to exist. He wasn't too sad about that. He had always wanted to leave his planet, to travel amongst the stars. The rest of his clan had said he was crazy, that traveling the stars was something that could never happen and that he should focus on where he was and what he could do for the clan. He had continued to dream anyway, and when his clan had been forced into service, he had figured his dreams would never come true. Then he had confronted Doelcm and tried to kill her, even though he really didn't want to. He was averse to killing those he percieved to be innocent, and he knew of no reason to kill her other than he had been told to. When she had spared him his life, he knew that he owed her more than he could ever repay. So he had traveled with her and her companions, becoming part of their group over time. And now, his dream was being fulfilled. He was traveling the stars. And facing incredible danger. He dragged himself back to the present as the car sped along back towards the rest of the group. He still didn't trust Alira, but as he though back again to when he had first joined up with the group. They hadn't really trusted him, but they had given him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he ought to do the same for Alira . . . He looked over at Doelcm, who was talking with Alira. 'My, what a sight she is,' he thought. She appeared to him the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. And she was so nice to him, always helping him and making him feel like someone of importance. If only he could do something to help her . . . He looked forward again and saw that they were approaching the others. They seemed to be searching for something, though he couldn't tell what from where they were. He turned back to Doelcm to ask her if she had any idea of what was going on, but she was slumped over in her seat, apparently asleep. That was strange. Only a few seconds ago she had been in conversation with Alira, who also appeared to have fallen asleep. Alarm bells went off inside Tarak's mind, but before he could do anything, he felt a sharp prick in the side of his neck, and then darkness began to close in. 'Betrayed!' was his last thought before the darkness overwhelmed him.
