Syfe, came up and blasted Erk, to keep him away from the queen and Sarala.

Temor was ordered to stay and fight Erk, so that she could go and talk with Sarala.

Lucrecia used shilms invisibility ability. Erk looked away for only a split second to look at syfe and Temor, when he turned around he noticed that Sarala was gone.

Lucrecia took Sarala, and covered her eyes so she wouldn't see where she was being taken, just in case she was to wake up.

As soon as Sarala woke up, Lucrecia was going to talk with Sarala, about all that has happened.

[Jason]

Erk felt a blast of warm air move against him, but shrugged it off. Where had she gone? He knew she was still in the area, but where?
Another blast of burning heat bashed into him, and Erk turned to his opponent.
"Hey Erky, what's up? Missed me?"
It was Syfe, Shilm's brother. The one who had messed everything up. And the one Erk now blamed for the disappearance of Sarala.
"You jerk!"
Erk flung his hand up and a stream of white-hot flame burst forth, slamming into Syfe and sending him flying backwards. Erk continued to press his attack, sending one blast after another into Syfe, who tried to fight back against the sudden onslaught.
Suddenly a blast of something sent Erk spinning. Erk hit the ground and rolled, coming back to his feet. Syfe had used the time to regain his feet as well, and he and Temor stood shoulder-to-shoulder, facing Erk. They were standing in front of what looked like some kind of church or something.
'I bet that's where Sarala is, if they're defending it like that.'
Summoning forth all his power, he shot several blasts of flame into the air, then proceeded to send a stream forth at both Temor and Syfe. They jumped out of the way of the fire streams, only to have to continued jumping around as blobs of fire fell down around them. One hit Syfe in the head, knocking him back to the ground. Syfe's own fire was slightly dimmer, a sign that he was losing strength. Temor managed to dodge all of the raining fire and charged at Erk, something forming in his hand. Erk threw another ball of fire at him, but Temor just sidestepped it and kept coming. He suddenly threw . . . something at Erk. He didn't know what it was, but he threw a blast of fire at it. It seemed to slow down for a second, them flew the rest of the difference and slammed into Erk. Rather than just knocking him down this time, though, Erk found himself paralized. He crashed to the ground and his fire flashed out.
Temor walked over to him, with Syfe coming up behind him massaging his head where he had been hit.
"Nice fight, little one. Very impressive. I think we shall take you along with us. Yes, I'm sure Lucrecia would like to have you as a trophy. Besides, I'm sure your precious Sarala would love to see you one last time."
'No . . . Sarala . . . I'm sorry . . . I've failed . . .'
That was Erk's last thought before he faded from consciousness.

What happened to me? Sarala had a pounding headache. Groaning, she rolled to her side and slowly managed to sit up.
"Did you have a nice rest, little princess?" an evil voice asked.
Sarala spun around, sending shooting pain through her skull, to see who was speaking. "Who are you?"
"My name is Lucrecia, not that you've heard of me. But I've heard you you, Sarala. The little child of light. As if you could defeat the queen of darkness. Ha! And your protectors, well, we can see how nicely they failed at that." With that, the woman steped to the side, revealing the form of Erk, unconcious on the ground.

"You guys, take him away. I don' t want him to ruin the surprise just yet."

"Sarala, as you can tell there is no way for you to defeat me, but if want to give you the chance to try. I love a good game of cat and mouse, but before the game starts, I'll answer any questions that you have. I start by answering this, I know that you can sense Shilm's powers, but what you are sensing is my power, thanks to your cousin, I am here, his life was worth taking, so now that, that is said and done, any questions?"

Temor and Syfe lift Erk up, Lucrecia looks at him and shoots a beam of light at Erk.

"No!!!! Leave him alone...please I beg you...he has done nothing to you." Said Sarala as she began to cry.

"Oh, my dear...I'm not going to kill them...just yet, but take him away I don't want him waking up in the middle of our little conversation." Said Lucrecia coldy

[Jason]

Erk kept his eyes squeezed tightly shut. As the beam of light struck him, he focused on it, making sure to keep his face blank. He felt the light flow into him and become absorbed into his being, adding to his strength. A nice little feature from his change.
'Sarala, don't react.'
To her credit, Sarala continued to cry and made no motion that she'd heard him.
'Erk?!"
'Who else, the postman?'
'Who?'
'Nevermind. Listen. In about ten seconds, I'm going to blast these guys into the wall. The instant that happens, I want you to get over to me as fast as you can. When you do, grab my hand, and call up your powers.'
'Why?'
'Don't ask, just do. When I say . . .'
Temor and Syfe began to drag Erk towards the door. Lucrecia watched as they moved him, and he took his shot.
'NOW!'
Erk's eyes flew open and streams of blue flame hurled from his hands, energized by the light that Lucrecia had hit him with. Temor and Syfe were flung against the far walls and crashed to the ground, stunned and dazed.
The instant Erk had shouted in his mind, Sarala had leapt up and run for him. Dodging a flying Syfe, she grabbed Erk's hand and summoned up her light. Something strange happened, however. Not only was her light coming to her, but it was flowing up into Erk. And his fire was flowing up into her.
"Hang on. Let's get out of here."
Lucrecia looked at them with astonishment.
"What? But how?"
"Next time," said Erk, "make sure you know all the rules before you act."
Bringing the hand that held Sarala's up, he willed forth his fire, now combined with Sarala's light, and blasted the dark queen straight in the chest. She flew back against the wall and crashed down. She started to get up when another blast struck her, once again smashing her into the wall. A third and final beam was all it took to knock her out.
Erk pulled Sarala with him and hurried for the exit, trying to make sure that they got out of there before Temor and Syfe could react. Not that he was too worried about them. Alone, their powers were not enough to stand up to the enemy, but combined they were indeed a force to be reckoned with. Blue flames encircled them, tinged with a shining white light. Together they ran outside, in time to see the time general approaching and talking to Doelcm. Together Erk and Sarala raised their joined hands and sent a blast of power at her, striking her in the back and sending her tumbling forward, head over heels. Doelcm shook her head, regaining her senses, then quickly acted to seal the time general in a hollow container of solid diamond. Erk and Sarala blasted it, and it hardened to a level of unprecedented strength.
After looking around and seeing that there were no longer any threats, Erk and Sarala let their power drain away, and he released her hand.
"Well, that was quite the show," said Doelcm. "Very impressive. When'd you learn to do that?"
"Never really learned it, actually. I just kinda figured it would work, or something like that."
Sarala looked over at Erk.
"How did you figure that?"
"It made sense. My power is now partially of fire and partially of light, so I guessed that by adding more light to it, it would increase it's strength exponentially. Looks like I was right."
"Indeed. It would seem that you were. Well, lets get the others and get out of here," said Sarala, starting to head over towards where Kor was sitting stunned and Tarak was lying on his back, breathing deeply and staring at the sky.
"Very impressive, Erk. I've seen you do neat things before, but I think that tops them all," said Doelcm.
"Indeed," said Erk as he watched Sarala move away. "Indeed."

[The Honourable Ninja-san]

Doelcm walked over to where Tarak was laying and bent over, hands on her knees.
" 'You okay?"
"Mhmm." He rolled over and pushed himself up. "What happened? I got hit with. . .darkness or something, and before I could do anything, you guys were captured. And now you're back."
Doelcm didn't know how Erk and Sarala escaped, so Sarala walked over and answered Tarak's questions. When she was done, Doelcm looked over at the very ticked off Time General in her dimond prison. She was about to ask what should be done with her, when a spear of darkness appeared and stuck in the diamond, making a small crack. Not wanting to fight the Generals again, Doelcm teleported herself and her friends a safe distance away.
"So. How are we going to defeat these guys? Permanantly, I mean. I don't want to kill anybody, but I don't know what else would stop them."
Her question was followed by silence.

Lucrecia sat upon her chair pondering upon the power that was used.

"these kid do pack a punch, but they won't stand a chance against the power I wield, light and darkness, both of these powers combined can destroy all. I need to go and to make sure that these kids don't ruin any of my plans. I was willing to negotionate with Sarala, but since she isn't much of a talker I gues i'll have to go and kill her. But for now I feel like taking my anger on someone....I know her parent they should suffer for their daughters pride."

The dark General and the time General were confronting the enemy, but they teleported out.

"this is perfect, they have shown us their power, and we know what they are capable of, and soon these prideful children will suffer for their pride. Next time we will know what to do, and the, we will rid ourselves of them." Said The Dark General.

"We should do something about this city, we cannot allow the children to remain here to find help or supplies." said the time general.

" you are right, destroy the place" said the dark general.

the dark General summoned a huge dark cloud that covered the whole city, and he unleashed a huge furry, of dark darts on the city, destroying all major buildings. The time mage made a huge enough bubble of time to speed up time to make all those that were young enough to fight, old and feeble, so that they would be of no use to Sarala. Syfe, was going around burning all that remained standing up, and destroy all crops and all source of food.

As Lucrecia was being carried back to her castle, she saw the destruction. Lucrecia wanted Sarala to know why it was all happening, so she shot a bubble of light into the sky that seperate to a message that said.

"Sarala, as long as you fight me, the people of this world will suffer, do you valor your life over all of your people? If you don't come alone to your castle, and I, Lucrecia shall be there alone to meet with you, come in two day."

[Erick]

Kor looked up at the message in the sky and scoffed.
"Could they be any more subtle?" Kor asked rhetorically.

It had been interesting at first, but now the generals and their current leader were becoming a nuisance. They lacked flair and discreetness. They hadn't even bothered to shield their minds. They weren't as powerful as they would like the their rogue empowered group to believe, and they were careless. It was time to give them a reason to hide. The pieces were already in place, all Kor needed to do now was sneak away from his friends.

Doelcm and her friends made their way slowly through the devestated city, helping those they could. Doelcm thought about the question she had asked her friends earlier, the one that got no answer. How do we beat these guys? Seperating them would make them weaker . . . Maybe we could capture one of them, except what would we do with him once he was captured? Too bad we can't take their superpowers. Hmmm . . . I wonder if Syfe can do things with fire other than shoot it from his hands. If not, we could capture him and I could put iron or something around his hands. But would we then just drag him around wherever we go? Doelcm sighed. What do we do?

[Jason]

Erk was having similar thoughts. 'What in the world can we do? No matter where we go, they're going to follow us and destroy any who stand to help us. Not that they'll be willing to give us much help here in this country. Not after this. They'll hold us responsible. Always happens.'
Almost as if to prove his point, a rock struck him in his left shoulder and he staggered a little. Turning, he saw a man shaking his fist at Erk, who then turned and ran away. Erk sighed and continued on down the road.
After helping another man to climb out of the rubble that was left of his home, Erk looked around and noticed that Kor was missing. Where had he gotten off to this time?

"Temor, use the link that you have made with Kor, and use it to our advantage. We are going to get all of them here and then I'm sending them all back from where they came from." Said Lucrecia.

"Yes, My Queen." said Temor.

Temor, went to a dark room to concentrate on the link he has with Kor, to be able to influence him to do his bidding."

"ha ha ha ha....These kids may think that they have hope of defeating me, but they don't know what power truly lies within us. The anger and hate that we have towards the light kingdom will help us dominate this time. thought lucrecia.

emiko was noticing the danger lurking. maybe if one of us went with them willingly, then everything would work out better. its always worth a try. well, i dont seem to really be doing much to help these guys out, so, i'll volunteer when i offer the idea, and next time we meet up with temor's dudes, then we will have some sort of a plan.
"hey guys, just a thought, maybe if one of us volunteered to go with them, they wouldnt be after us quite so much. i'll even volunteer to go with them. i'm probably one of the least valuable to you all, so, why dont i go as a peace offering of types. what do you all think? Sarala, what do you think? you know them best. we could even, if we wanted to, have doelcm change me to look more like you, then they would think that they were getting you, instead of just me."

[Lady Jillith]

"No, we can't do that," Sarala said. "I can't send someone into danger in my place. How would you protect yourself, anyway? No. I have to go myself."
"What? How can you go? She'll kill you!" Doelcm said.
"If I don't, everyone in this country will suffer."

[Jason]

"If you get yourself killed, Sarala, then everyone will suffer anyway."
Erk placed his hand her her shoulder.
"There is no easy choice. You have to choose between the lesser of two evils here. Give yourself up, and allow her to take control of all the land, or continue to fight, possible at the cost of civilian lives."
"How can you ask me to make such a choice?"
"It's not a choice we're asking you to make," said Doelcm. "It's a choice that's been placed on you. We can't make it for you. We will stand by you, whatever your decision may be."
Erk nodded his consent. Sarala continued to think for several minutes, trying to decide what to do. Finally, she made her decision.
"I will go. If there is any way to save the people, then I will do it."
Erk sighed, closed his eyes, then turned and walked off. Sarala moved to go after him, but Doelcm put a hand on her shoulder and shook her head.
"Let him be."
"But . . ."
"He'll need some time to get over this. You're asking a lot of him, by deciding to go back. He'll stick with you. It's . . . rather personal for him."
"What do you mean?" asked Sarala with a curious look on her face.
Doelcm paused, then said: "You should ask him yourself."
Sarala turned and looked back at Erk, who stood starring off into the sunset, and wondered what it was that was causing him such grief.

A dark Hawk landed in the mistd of the warriors, and dropped a letter.

The letter said,

Sarala,
If you don't come we will destroy every village, but if you come do choice to come we will stop the destruction of any town and city. The deal is if you betray the deal, those soldiers and Generals set outside every town and city will destroy all, so don't double cross us. I promise that I will not harm anyone, in fact I will give them need food and supply. Come to my castle if you accept the deal, but come alone. This Hawk will accompany you, and don't think of fooling it, because I can see what it see's.
