For this game, we each take turns writing a sentence in a story. If your muse is really with you, you can write more than one sentence. Pretty much anything goes. Since we have several silly stories, like the food fight, I would prefer if this one wasn't pure silliness. But we'll see what happens.
*Ahem*
The world has been destroyed.

No one knows who dropped the bomb. Every country was affected.

we cockroaches are mighty creatures, if small. but it is in that smallness that the power comes.

When the bomb exploded, we hid in cracks and crevices and waited while the furious energy swirled around our hiding places. After days and weeks of enduring rushing energy, it just...stopped.

And so we crawled out of our hiding places . . .

when we came out of our hiding places, we saw that there was nothing else living. except for one little plant.

The plant was only a few roach-lengths tall, but it was full of leaves. The leaves were broad at the base and narrowed to a point at the tip, and they were swirled with red, yellow, blue, purple, green, and orange. Vaguely, this struck the roaches as unusual.

the roaches picked a couple leaves, hoping that they weren't poisonous and that they wouldn't kill them.

But being roaches, they weren't terribly worried.

After all, they survived a bomb dropping, what else could go wrong?

as they ate the leaves, they noticed that they grew, and got bigger. what was happening to them?

"This is like what happened to Alice in Wonderland!" one of the roaches realized. He had always been a literary sort. He'd eaten Carroll, Lewis, Shakespeare, all the greats.
