ah the good old days in the south. That's why I loved my first area (and so did everyone else.) The temperature was 10 degrees cooler up in Asheville in the mountains then down in Charlotte.

i'm just excited to be back in dryer weather where i'm not going to be soaking wet all day. step outside and witing a couple minutes your whole back where its covered by a backpack is all soaked-- it was even better when we were biking, cause then you just sweat more period

At least your hands are less likely to crack and bleed And the day/night temperature difference is smaller.

my hands were just as likly to crack and bleed in the south as they are here in the dry north. in fact, they did so worse than they do here. i think i decided (its not scientific, so dont quote me on it) that it has nothing to do with how wet/dry the air is, but just how much you go from inside warm to outside cold in a day. the days where we went back and forth a lot, my hands were a lot closer to cracking and bleeding than the days we werent.

Well, Ranger Melinda had 4,307 posts, you now have 189 = 4,496. Jason has 4,627. So you're getting pretty close, and considering how busy Jason has been and not really getting on here, you just may catch him.

maybe. i've gotten more busy right now too. dumb midterms. after this week though, i think it might calm down a bit. or, it might get more busy, since i have more projects that i've known about all semester, but have forgotten about, and have been putting off. we'll see how not busy i stay.
