Well, I did all the research and wrote the initial version, and then they went in and chopped it all up. So the work you see is mine, but not in the format I wrote it. Oh well. And if you do a little searching, you can find my pictures. One under the Apple Users Group, and one under the Computer Science section.

erick, what is your major? did you ever change to phsych? or, anything else for that matter. I know that that was about 4 years ago that you wanted to change, so you have had a lot of time, and possibly dont even want to do that any more, but i thought i would ask anyhow.

well, I'm happy to say I've finally figured out what my major is going to be! I'm going to major in History and have two clusters - General Business and Ancient Languages. Not entirely sure what I want to do (history is a pretty liberal major in that you can do a lot with it)

You can do a lot with history? Like what? (Hmmm...teach, law school...) Good to hear that your major is "liberal."
Ancient Languages would be cool, but how on earth do you get a cluster in it? I'm guessing from the name that you learn about multiple languages. I wouldn't think you could learn enough to be helpful from just a cluster with classes spread over multiple languages.

the Ancient Languages cluster has you take 2 classes in Ancient Greek and two in Latin. Since I'm going to do a lot of greek/roman history for my major, it's probably important that I can somewhat read the language.

i seriously looked at doing the ancient languages cluster, but decided it didnt do me any good. i'm just not sure how i'm feeling with my current choises either, but it will be okay.
you might have to teach me some of those languages... especially the greek so that i can write cool stuff to my greenie (who's no longer a greenie. i guess i should just stick with calling her my daughter ;D)

half daughter to be precise. I'll see what I can do. Just remember, it's ANCIENT Greek, not modern-day.

Greek's not a dead language. Were you thinking of Latin? Latin is so useful for scientific things (like plant names) because it's a dead language and thus, won't change. You don't have problems like "mad" meaning "angry" or "insane" in the US, but only "insane" in England (You probably already knew that, but I just felt like saying it).
I bet knowing Latin would be helpful for a lot of things, like like studying English. English is a Germanic language, but it's tried it hardest to be a Latin-based one.

oh I think learning Latin will be really cool. It will also help learning a lot of the other European languages (should I have a desire to do such a thing) because they're all based on it.
