Why don't we eat pie? I don't know. Probably because it takes longer to make than brownies or cookies. My family doesn't eat much cake either. Brownies and cookies are (usually) just better. And both brownies and cookies are better than cake to go with ice-cream. They don't get soggy as fast.

we don't have brownies. my dad is allergic to chocolate, so we don't have things with chocolate. though, those blondies (the non-chocolate brownies. i think they are butterscotch?) are really good. has anyone else had those?

Gotta love it! Unfortunately, fresh homemade anything is pretty hard to come by while up at college. Time/money are never at optimum amounts for that.
