Should always go with what best fits your personality. No point in getting yourself stuck somewhere that you don't like and will just hate the whole time.

Yeah, what you end up doing should be fun, not just boring work you have to do.

So very true. Though you could find a job while at school that you enjoy. That could even grow into the job you do for your whole life.

i have to be re-hired each semester, but yes, i have sold my soul for that long, basically. I'm excited to have a job from now on though. and, with each new semester, i get a 10 cent pay raise

We like pay raises. Kinda dumb you have to be re-hired, if you've basically contracted to work that long with them.

Probably because after each semester you get kicked out of the system. I imagine it's not really hard to do (maybe even just fill out some paperwork or something)

it looked like you came to the meeting at the beginning of the semester, filled out your schedual, and you were in. but i'm not positive. it is possible they had to do some paperwork before the meeting. but yes, you get kicked out of the system at the end of the semester. as it said in our training "if you have no hours for two consecutive pay periods, you will be kicked out of the system" or something to that effect. but that is why.

wow, you've sold your soul for that long? I'll just add that i find it amusing that you use the words "sold your soul" like it was Satan i sold it to, and not just work. ;D

Admittedly true! It is the testing center! A crazy place to want to work for two years!
