It probably gets between the 80-100s back home. 100s would be rare... I hope. But with humidity, it gets plenty hot. It's so weird that it isn't a given here that a building (or at least a college housing complex) has air conditioning. Pity the people who lived in the Old South.

Like Tiare said, you would only need it only a few days out of the year so what's the point of having AC, and 100 is a rarity in VA as well

so what is the average temp up here during the summer. anyone know? i like the forcefield idea. one of the CS guys should come up with a way to make one. yes the military would kidnap them and never let them go, but at least they would be more than comforatable for the rest of their lives. so no hundreds up here ay? odd. i think that when i go home in august, i will dye of heat. if the hottest it is suppsed to get up here is 80s, then how in the world will i be able to go back home and deal with 100s?

Okay, according to weather.com, the average high in July and August in Rexburg is 84 degrees.

That's not bad, that's tame for weather, it's not as hot out here as it is on the cost. Humidity can't be all that bad.
