Each has it's own purpose. If you're in a hurry or are just having a fun, casual dinner, fast food is the way to go. If you want a nice dinner, and don't mind waiting the extra time, sit-down would probably be better. I'm assuming by "sit-down," you mean any resturant except fast food.

Yeah, pretty much. Hmm . . . sounds like a good philosophy. Fast food is also good when you want some food that isn't exactly fancy or expensive.

i prefer a sit down resturant. the food tastes better. however, as you said, if you are in a hurry, and you dont want to pay a lot, then fast food is the way to go.

True, true. Sit-down is good. They actually make food that isn't half grease, usually.

Usually because it is real food, unless you count the Galley. Not exactly what I'd call real food.

No, it's cafeteria food. That's in a category all on it's own.

Cafeteria food . . . brings back memories of spongy scrambled eggs and super-hard (but tasty) brownies.

I generally liked cafeteria food . . . but not the spongy eggs.

you guys got eggs at school? wow. we got nothing like that. the only bad thing that i can really remember is that our brownies always tasted like the way that coffe smells. they were rather nasty.

Oo, yech. Our cafeteria food in elementary was, well, yeah. Basically, the pizza was a rectangle, about an inch high, with about an eigth of that comprising the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. The rest was some spong-like substance they claimed was dough. I didn't eat the pizza.

I think our stuff was generally good--at least, I'd get it each day rather than bring stuff from home. I think we'd have chicken nuggets sometime, and that was good.
