IS is more of the technical side of computers, like networking, softwar installation, program maintainance, bug fixing, virus removal, things like that, I believe.

The Austin, the one with the kid with the airplane, right? Yeah, that's where the CS classes are. The reason I don't know much about what the IS major really is is because the website doesn't really describe it very well.
