i was being sarcstic about the economy. its about the same as it is anywhere else. thats so cool taht you got hired on the spot. they did that for me with sears. i think they were just desperate for someone to have on the team, so it didnt matter too much. but i'm sure that pikes is different, that you are just so amazing they couldnt pass you up. ;D

yay! i'm glad that your degree was useful to you! that is always a nice feeling. in fencing today, we learned some attacks and some counter attacks, and then at the end of class we did open fencing, and we used those things we learned. it felt really good

You rec majors you! Always having fun! You should have to work like real people do! Kidding, I know you get plenty of work the farther along you get.

maybe. i really don't know. they offered a class this semseter (that they started offering for second block halfway through first block that i really wanted to take, but couldnt cause i have a whole semeser class at the time it was) called outdoor photography. that would have been the most cool class to take. i just dont think they are offering it any more how did the start of your training go kelli? wasnt that today? or am i wrong (like i often am) and it was a different day?

Sad day! Outdoor Photography sounds like a great class.
Training went well. The guy talked to us about the Pike Mission Statement, basic safety stuff, watering technique, where to find the info about our chemicals in case someone gets poisoned... (Really, the info's there so [theoretically] people won't use the stuff improperly in the first place.)
...And my chance to do yard-work is gone. It's started raining. This is the third day in a row that we've had rain.
